Relocated a small 1904 Colonial Revival residence (2 parcels away) and will convert it to a small café keeping period details in tact: wainscoting, beam ceiling, period fixtures, etc.
This project was awarded a 2008 Architectural Preservation Award from the Alameda Architectural Preservation Society.

First Presbyterian Church

Alameda, CA
Exterior facade renovation of a 1903 Colonial Revival church. Project
consisted of repainting the entire exterior of the church, installing
(N) epoxy coating on main stairs, conserving & partitially restoring
original stained glass windows and installing breathable safety
glass protection panels in front of the stained glass units to protect
them.
This project was awarded a 2007 Architectural Preservation Award
from the Alameda Architectural Preservation Society.
Project under the direction and partitially funded by The State
of California Office of Historic Preservation. Structure is listed
on the City of Alameda Historic Monument List, Native Sons of the
Golden West Historical List, and the National Historic Trust List.

Zimmerman & Markowitz Residence
Alameda, CA
Installed interior 4-stop residential elevator in an 1890 Queen
Anne using old servant's stairs as the shaft space. Included custom
doors, hardware and millwork to conceal the elevator landing.

Gonzalez Residence

Alameda, CA
1904 Colonial Revival kitchen and master suite remodel. Includes
custom casework and custom moldings.

Carvalho Residence
Baldwin & Pell House

Alameda, CA
Renovated entire main level of the house keeping all the period
details. Included new gourmet kitchen and ½ bathroom.

Exterior renovation of an 1889 Queen Anne Victorian, included a
12 color paint scheme designed by Bob Buckter, custom turned final's
wooden ridge cresting, ornamental metal root cresting and Widow's
walk by Creative Iron. Restoration was based on Owner's original
photos of the home.

Graham-Gilliat Residence

Alameda, CA
Complete renovation of the 1897 Colonial Revival residence. The
home was complete gutted to bare studs, a new rear stair from the
basement to the 3rd floor was incorporated so as to be as seem less
as possible. Details included period wall covering, finish hardware,
custom milled millwork, refinished Douglas fir and oak flooring.

Seiwald Residence

Alameda, CA
Addition and remodel of the Kitchen area of an 1896 Colonial Revival
residence. Included was a complete new full height basement (full
footprint), period hardware, and custom moldings.

Carvalho Residence
Carriage House

Alameda, CA
Constructed new period Carriage House to mimic details of the houses
original 1889 water tank structure. Included reusing salvaged materials
from the original structure, installation of period carriage house
doors, board and batten siding, gold leafed sun burst gable trim
detail, exterior miners light fixtures, and double hung windows.

Law Offices of William Berg & Associates

Alameda, CA
Remodel of 6,000 sq. ft. of the former Alameda Bureau of Electricity
administrative office building. Includes voluntary seismic upgrade
to the (E) structure while maintaining the historic character of
the buildings mural ceilings. This project was awarded a 2002 Architectural
Preservation Award from the Alameda Architectural Preservation Society.

Temporary City Hall
Historic Alameda High School-East Wing
Alameda, CA
Historic Alameda High was updated to house temporary offices for
the Alameda City Hall. Renovations included upgrades to the electrical,
plumbing and alarm systems, and refurbishing the interior. Work
was completed within a 90 day time period.
