City of San Leandro San Leandro Marina San Leandro, CA Structural repair and rework of a wood float system with covered berths. Completion Date: May 1998 Marin Yacht Club San Rafael, CA Phase I: Part of the on-going scheme to replace aged and damaged dock floats on the marina. The project involved removing and replacing old floats without disturbing the water or electrical systems or disrupting the operation of the club. These requirements mandated the use of a method of sinking the floats to place them in position. The old floats were removed by barge. There were 52 floats in total. The project duration was approximately one month. Completion Date: November 1995 Phase II: Removed old float system. Installed new Bellingham Marine system, approximately 120 floats.
